Easton John Peterson

Easton John Peterson the beloved Son of Carly Weber and Jared Peterson passed away March 23, 2019 in the arms of his parents at the Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. Baby Easton was born on March 5, 2019 at the High River Hospital. He came in to this world weighing 9 pounds and 6 ounces. He had a beautiful gentle soul that touched everyone that met him. He enjoyed being held, and cuddled, and rocked. He was comforted by loving pats, being hummed and sung to, the sounds of late night crickets and soft rock oldies and he thoroughly enjoyed sucking his soother. Unfortunately we were not going to be able to see this wonderful boy grow. He left us too soon and with a huge hole in our hearts. Left to remember him and cherish the brief time we had are his Parents, Carly Weber and Jared Peterson, Uncle Trent Peterson, Grand Parents Brenda Weber and Kevin Nashiem, Denise and Dale Peterson, Dennis and Cindy Weber, Great Grandparents Bob and Edie Simanton, and a whole host of family and friends. Pompe disease is very rare and incurable. He was surrounded with love the entire time he was on this earth and we continue to feel that love for him now. In tribute to Easton, Carly and Jared plan to bring awareness to the disease and honour their Son's memory. Their plan is to restore a truck that Jared was going to give to Easton one day and bring it to car shows to try to raise awareness and gather donations for Pompe. He was not born to walk on earth He was meant for greater things He stayed for just a quick hello Then had to spread his wings.
