Ms. Karen McConnell (nee: Hill) of High River, Alberta passed away peacefully surrounded by her children and loved ones at the High River Hospital on March 23rd, 2019 at the age of 57 years after a complication of a traumatic brain injury sustained 11 years ago. Karen is survived by her children Cody Hervey (Jerri-lynn), Holly Hervey-Phillips (Parker) and Brian Hervey (Shelby); Grandchildren Adelynn, Peyton, Jack, and Harlyn Phillips; Tanner, Levi, Brady, and Emma Hervey; Brothers ED (Carol) George (Tracy) and Curtis (Pam); Aunt Joyce and Uncle Fred as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Karen was predeceased by her Father Clem and Mother Dorothy; Sister Diana; Brother Steven and Granddaughter Bridgette Phillips. She will be dearly missed by her loving caregiver of 7 years Iris Janz and the entire High River Hospital Long Term Care family. Karen touched the lives of all that knew her, her beautiful smile and sweet charm brightened any room she was in. She was so brave and fought everything that came her way with such power and grace it was admirable. Rest now Mom- my jumping jellybean, my sunshine, my miracle.
