Mr. Walter Clark Nuhn

December 18, 1926 - April 30, 2013

Mr. Walter C. Nuhn of High River, passed away on April 30, 2013 at the High River Hospital at the age of 86 years. Walter is survived by his sons John (Lorna Monaghan) Nuhn of High River, AB; Jim (Joyce) Nuhn of Ayton, ON; daughter Nancy (Corey) Conan of Lethbridge, AB; grandchildren Jamie Nuhn, Jodie Nuhn, Joshua Nuhn, Brody Conan and Kaycee Conan; great-grandchildren Jude Nuhn, Jaxon Nuhn; brother Herman (Audie) Nuhn of Moosejaw, SK; sister Ruth Nuhn of Guelph, ON as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Walter was predeceased by his wife Marjorie; sisters Thelma Nuhn; Mildred Widmeyer; brother Henry Nuhn and parents Fred and Emma Nuhn. Walter was born in Ontario where he farmed and was a carpenter. He moved to Alberta in 1979 where he continued to do carpenter work. He loved sports, fishing and hunting. As a young man he was an avid baseball player. Walter also enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and loved to watch their hockey and baseball games.
